Who we are
Olney is Kind CIC is a community interest company based at Olney Centre, High Street, Olney MK46 4EF. We are the data controller for the information described in this policy.
What we collect
We only collect what you give us: your name, email address, phone number and address where relevant, and anything you choose to write in a message or referral. Foodbank and counselling enquiries may include sensitive information about your circumstances.
Why we use it
To reply to you, to arrange food or counselling support, to administer donations and the 25 Club, and to keep the records a community interest company is required to keep.
Who sees it
Only the small number of Olney is Kind volunteers who need to. We share information with a counsellor or partner organisation only with your agreement, or where we are required to by law or to protect someone from serious harm. We never sell your data.
How long we keep it
No longer than we need to. Enquiries are deleted once resolved; donation and 25 Club records are kept for as long as financial rules require.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or withdraw consent at any time. Email info@olneyiskind.org.uk and we’ll deal with it. If you’re unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
